Growing up in Brazil as the son of a musician, Gabriel spent his early years surrounded by music and instruments before eventually finding his way into filmmaking. That deep connection to rhythm, pace, and feeling continues to shape his visual style, influenced by the sounds and energy of home. Now based in Auckland, he works as a director and DOP, creating work rooted in motion, freedom, and with a strong sense of place.
